Welcome to the World Sustainable Procurement Day Event
This welcome session is IN-PERSON ONLY (World Sustainable Procurement Day Board Room Lounge).
All other sessions of the World Sustainable Procurement Day are virtual as well.
This is a unique moment that we want to celebrate together, and we invite you to join us for this. For the first time ever hybrid sessions will be livestreamed from a physical hub in the world (Titaan, The Hague, The Netherlands) to participants from the World Sustainable Procurement Day. Last year 3,500 participants participated in the 24-hour fully virtual event, taking place each year on March 21. On 21 March three events of the 24 will go hybrid from The Hague.

A unique experience and experiment. On 21 March 2024 three sessions of the overall 24-hours are taking place in The Hague with a mix of in-person and online speakers, and three audiences will unite to watch each event. An audience in-person in The Hague, a virtual Euclid Network audience on Zoom and a virtual World Sustainable Procurement Day audience on Airmeet.
The three sessions you can register for on our Krowden session booking platform and participate in-person on 21 March (or via Zoom, or via Airmeet) are the following:
10-11am: Embedding Sustainability into Public Sector Procurement
12-13pm: Discovering Value: Navigating the Social Procurement Movement with Buy Social Europe
13-14pm: Circular Supply Chains: What are the Challenges and Learnings so Far

To unveil a tip of what to expect, expect speakers representing the private and public sector, including SAP, IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, the public sector and international organizations such as the European Commission, UK Government, International Labour Organisation, UN, World Food Programme, support and intermediary organisations such as the Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation, Telos, or Euclid Network – the European Social Enterprise Network, and of course fantastic social entrepreneurs like WildHearts.
In this specially created World Sustainable Procurement Day Board Room Lounge for you, Impact Summit participants interested in the topic of transitioning to a more socially inclusive and sustainable event through procurement, supply chains, sourcing, buying and selling of products and services, can watch 7 hours of the 24 hours in a relaxed environment, with fellow Impact Summit participants, together.
The World Sustainable Procurement Board Room Lounge is open all day until 18 pm.
