Whether you are a supporter of young changemakers, for funder of their work, a policy maker or a social innovator yourself, this event is for you!
The data* shows that changemakers are struggling! They are often sacrificing their personal finances and well-being to dedicate their lives to leading social innovations, delivering much-needed impact and value to the communities and causes they serve. T
hey need support on many dimensions and so often the system works against them! We believe it’s time to improve the conditions for ‘change-making’ and tackle this challenge at the ecosystemic level! We can only do that collaboratively.
In this session, we will collectively:
• Review the results of the Possibilists study* and exchange reflections, concerns and ideas about the data.
• Brainstorm and map out the most relevant action steps we can each take in order to respond to the challenges and needs of young social innovators around the world.
Here’s a sneak peek into the flow of our session:
• Welcome, framing and check-in
• The Possibilists survey: overview of results
• Breakouts: Improving the conditions for young changemakers
• Check-out: embodying wellbeing ourselves
We hope you feel as excited as we are to deep dive into this session. Kindly confirm your participation by RSVP-ing to this event.
*Initiated by ChangemakerXchange, The Possibilists is a global alliance of the world’s largest youth social innovation communities and a growing network of nearly 50 local youth organisations.
Collectively we reach hundreds of thousands of young changemakers, activists and social entrepreneurs. Through a bi-annual study we deliver scientific insights into their lives, work and needs. Building on the data we then co-create systemic solutions to ultimately improve the conditions for young people driving positive change everywhere.
