One of the biggest barriers for social entrepreneurs in accessing funding is their access to network.
At EN we want to change this with a dedicated session tailored for social entrepreneurs and financiers to come together, establish connections, and mutually benefit from shared insights.
The session will start with introductions from financiers who will showcase both their financial and non-financial opportunities, then we will transition into smaller roundtable discussions. These discussions offer a deep dive into various available opportunities, ranging from guidance on accessing investments and support to strategies for launching a successful crowdfunding campaign.
During these intimate roundtable exchanges, you'll have the chance to inquire about programme specifics, present your ideas in a relaxed setting, and personally engage with the financiers. This session aims to foster meaningful connections, facilitate valuable learning experiences.
Pauline Bieringa has been managing director of Triodos Bank Nederland since September 2020. She grew up in Friesland, studied history in Groningen and the United States and completed her MBA at the Erasmus University. Pauline started her banking career withing ING Group, where she held several international positions in and outside the Netherlands. In 2004 she became director of public finance at BNG Bank. Besides that she was also supervisor at Hivos-Triodos Fund, Open University, KAS Bank and Stichting Berenschot Beheer for many years, and is involved in a number of initiatives related to help with debt problems.
Pauline is married; together with her husband (historian) she lives in The Hague.
